ABOUT MY JOHNSTOWN MILL RATS INTERNSHIP
Intensive Practical Experience
The Johnstown Mill Rats are a summer collegiate baseball team out of Johnstown, PA, and are a part of the Prospect League. The Prospect League gives collegiate players the opportunity to play during the summer months in front of professional scouts while also providing affordable entertainment for the local community.

During this internship, I will be involved in all aspects of team and stadium operations but most especially I will be focused on the marketing side and be given the opportunity to learn and develop skills in retail, graphic design, social media, communication, and many other important aspects.

ABOUT ME
I am currently a senior at Point Park University in the Sports, Arts, and Entertainment Management (SAEM) program and am graduating in Spring 2024. As an avid sports fan, I aspire to pursue a career in sports media relations or communications. I have always been able to achieve a high level of success in the classroom. I graduated high school with a 3.98 GPA and currently hold a 4.0 at Point Park, earning me a spot on the Dean’s List all seven semesters of my college career so far. I am also awarded Point Park’s Presidential Scholarship, their highest academic scholarship. Outside the classroom, I am the Vice President of Marketing for the Campus Activities Board and an occasional sports reporter for U-View Television. With these positions, I oversee the three marketing coordinators as a part of CAB and work on communication and journalism skills for U-View. I also have experience as a guest services clerk at Idlewild & SoakZone, where I processed season passes and handled in-park daily rentals. I make sure to stay very active on campus taking advantage of every opportunity I can.
