Almost halfway there!

We are almost at the halfway point of the season! This past week was a pretty light week with only 2 home games on the schedule. I did a lot of the same stuff as I have been doing in regards to working the music during the game and sending out some social media posts throughout the week. I continue to learn a lot about what it takes to be in this industry and especially how much time you have to put into it and the ability to be flexible with your schedule as things can change sometimes. I also took control of the Twitter for a game this past week and posted all the game updates which was a pretty easy thing to learn but was also pretty fun.

Things are looking like they are going to change around a good bit with jobs for the two home games we have this week so I may be put in a different position and get some different experience which I am excited for. One of the big things we interns as a group are working on right now is planning a theme night that will hopefully include a sponsored giveaway. This is helping us to learn what it takes to put one of these on and how to communicate with a sponsor to get them on board which is what I was tasked with so I am hoping things go well.

This upcoming week will also be pretty light since there are only 2 games but I will have a lot of new experiences to talk about so stay tuned for that!
