Welcome to my new blog! This blog will be all about my new internship with the Johnstown Mill Rats Baseball Club. This coming season will be the franchise’s second season as a member of the Prospect League. They became a member of the league as a part of a 2021 expansion that brought the league to 16 teams and realigned the 4 divisions. They play at the historic and newly improved Point Stadium in Downtown Johnstown. It will be a unique and interesting experience getting to work with a franchise that is so new and is still building a brand. That is quite exciting from a marketing standpoint because it brings forth a lot of opportunities. Another really cool thing for me about this is being able to do this for a team in my hometown. Being able to be a part of building something here that will hopefully remain here for a long time is something that excites me and will bring a lot of pride to the work I do. This will also be able to give me a new perspective on not only the game of baseball but my town as well which will be valuable.

In these posts, I will basically reflect on everything I learned in the past week, things I did, and what cool stuff I have coming up. I hope you all enjoy following along on my journey as I develop my current skills and learn many new ones. It is almost time to start the journey and start the journey and to #PackThePoint!
