Week One is in the books!

Our first week is complete and it has been a pretty great time so far. We have a great group of 9 interns including myself (there are two that started today and are not pictured) and we have been doing a little bit of everything to get everything ready for the season which starts up in a little over under a week and a half. I have mostly been doing graphic design related things so far (along with two others). We are working on creating a game program for the season and that has been a pretty big process. The main part of that has been mocking up ads for our sponsors that have paid to be in the game program and sending them out for their approval before putting them all together on their respective pages and compiling the whole thing together. I also got the cool task of designing the posters for the 6 inductees of our inaugural Walk of Fame class (and one of them is a distant relative of mine which is even cooler). We have also been in charge of creating and posting social media graphics each day and re-working our website to make it even more inviting and easy to navigate. The last major things we did was make sales calls to local business today and seeing if they would be interested in getting their group out to see a game. I made about 20 calls and got a few that seemed interested, so I was pretty happy with that. All in all, this first week was really great and I am excited to keep it going with this great group of interns! Until next week!!
